The Student Wellbeing Adviser will provide initial help and support for students and refer students, where appropriate, to other members of the Student Support and Wellbeing team or external agencies, being aware of legal, ethical and health implications.


Empathetic, with excellent interpersonal skills and an understanding of the pressures facing students, you will offer support, acting as a first point of contact and signposting to other available services both within and outside of the University. You will also develop and maintain close and effective links with key staff within the Student Support and Wellbeing team, liaising with a range of relevant staff both within the University and outside organisations.


With excellent organisational skills, the successful applicant will need to maintain confidential case notes for students as well as provide supporting evidence for mitigating circumstances, in consultation with the Head of Student Wellbeing and registered professionals.
