Trainee Producer - Fixed Term

The Dance department have secured Arts Council England funding for a Trainee Producer. The post holder will be responsible for the administration and co-ordination of Arts Council England funded Dance Studio Theatre Programme. This will include liaising with and developing relationships with performance companies, organising community and university focused workshops as well as other wrap around activities such as the Teddie talk podcast series.

You will be the key point of contact for performance companies, departments across the University and external networks. Dealing with verbal and written communications and bookings from a wide variety of potential venues on a regular basis and in a timely and accurate manner.

You will be qualified to degree level in a relevant subject with a good understanding of current dance companies and contemporary dance. You will demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and the ability to plan and schedule effectively. Previous administration experience is essential.
